Updates and Corrections

If you find a mistake in any of our publications, and the mistake is not listed here as a correction, then please let our Manager know.

Note that despite our best efforts there may still be changes and mistakes that we are not aware of, so never rely on our publications for your safety and wellbeing.

The updates and corrections are in the form of Adobe Acrobat files. You need at least Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 4 to view, print, and save these files.

Walking Round in Circles

Corrections:

Page 39. The spelling of stile needs correcting. "Head east, crossing the stile and the stream a short distance beyond. A short steep path leads up to another stile across the fence to the car park."

Page 106. The page reference in the caption to the photo should be to page 10

Page 107. The bottom-right corner of the map shows a section of Walk 25. On this map it should show only as a footpath.

Wildflowers of Australia’s South West – Second edition

Corrections:

p. 98: Reverse nos. 3 & 4, Gastrolobium bilobum & G. ebracteolatum on the key image. In the desctiption of Gastrolobium bilobum, Heartleaf Poison, the sentence should read "We have two species of Gastrolobium here and they are common on granite outcrops."

Addition:

p. 38:To make it easier to find the description of Hypoxis gardneri, the Yellow Star, you may wish to add the following line to the bottom of page 38: "9 is described on page 42". This link shows this addition.

Page ii. The Cover photo information should read: Front cover: The cliffs north of Yallingup. Back cover: North of Cowaramup bay (top); Davies Road in Boranup Forest (bottom); Title Page: On a hot day there are many pools along the coast where you can enjoy a fairly safe swim in dramatic surroundings.

Updates:

While this edition was at the printers a fire passed through the area between Redgate and Contos Campground. This created a good oppotunity to reroute some of the track to improve grades and reduce erosion. This Revised Page 64 is a pdf that shows the slight changes to the track between Bobs Hollow and Contos Campground.
